Overview
In a stunning setting overlooking a breathtaking Spanish valley, Caserio del Mirador was created for families, by a family, as a laidback oasis where parents can truly relax. Think small hotel, big charm. Kids are more than well catered for with a pool, trampoline, sandpit, dressing up and giant walk-in toy cupboard. They can happily spend their days collecting chickens eggs, befriending Beryl the pig, or discovering the gardens dotted with play frames and outdoor games. Pack light, as everything from prams and bouncers through to beach towels and parasols are provided. Parents themselves, the hosts are always on hand to help with the kids, and every tiny touch has been carefully considered – early tea times are available (with wine for adults), the baby monitor stretches from the apartments and relaxing spa treatments can be arranged. Long, lazy evenings are filled with delicious home cooked food and cocktails. You’ll leave with new friends as well as magical memories

Staying at Caserio del Mirador is like being invited to your kindest friend’s incredible house in Spain, where she’s converted the whole thing into a series of stylish apartments, perfect for families. A good way to describe it is a boutique family retreat. They have nailed the art of creating family holidays that satisfy the adults and kids in equal measure. Everything is thought of so things run as smoothly as possible. The house and its grounds are stunning, set next to mountains and looking out across a valley that leads to the sea. Relaxed and laidback, think Spanish décor with terracotta floors, Moroccan lamps, cosy bedding and thoughtfully chosen art
Reviews from other parents
If you have kids and want a stressfree holiday in beautiful, sunny Spain, Caserio del Mirador is the place. A family friendly villa in Xaló, near Valencia and Alicante, you're close to nature and surrounded by mountains, plus there is everything you or your kids could need!
The pool is lovely pool to relax around, and there are beautiful beaches close by. We went in October and the weather was perfect. The hosts cook delicious food, there are plenty of animals for the children to befriend, and a heap of toys & books both inside and outdoors.
The mini kitchen in our apartment was one of Chloe’s favourites, and she made so many new friends she was upset we had to leave! We all loved it there
