Best time to visit
The most popular time to visit Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa is between May and October, when the weather is warm and ideal for enjoying the beach, pool, and outdoor activities. The peak summer months of June through September offer the highest temperatures and the liveliest atmosphere, while May and October are perfect for guests who prefer a more relaxed experience with milder weather. For families of three: Double Rooms (which come in the choice of Garden, Bay or Sea View) provide a double bed and space for either a cot or a sofa bed in one open plan living & sleep space. Some of these also come with their own private pools for the dreamiest nap time set up. If you need a little more space plump for a Deluxe Suite One Bedroom Sea View
For families of four: Family Rooms (which come in the choice of Garden or Bay view) or Family Bungalows (which come in the choice of Garden or Sea view) offer a spacious setup with two rooms, (one bedroom and one living room with sofa bed) handily separated by a sliding door to ensure minimal disruption to anyone’s beauty sleep. Cots can also be added for the youngest of tiny travellers (bringing the total occupancy up to five)
For families of five: Executive Two Bedroom Suites (Sea View) interconnect Bay View or Sea View rooms for 2 truly separate bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests (and a baby in a cot). There are only a limited number of these and they are subject to availability
If your tot demands a tub, ask for a Family Room Bay View in the Main Building, or one of the Garden View or Sea Front Bungalows
Select suites and bungalows feature private pools. If a heated swim spot is important to you, opt for The Presidential Two-Bedroom Suite, as this is the only one heated by man and not just the sun!

What family facilities are there, and how much do they cost?
The Kids Club at Kontokali is free to use for tiny travellers 4 – 12 years old, with opening hours of 10am – 6pm. Activities include arts and crafts, face painting, team games, cooking lesson with the Chef, movies, Uno tournaments and outdoor play. Parents who want to make use of the facilities with any younger tots are more than welcome too
The grounds of the Kids Club features a children’s pool and generous playground that families can use together, as well as a games room inside
Babysitters can be booked for 20 euros per hour for 1 child or 30 euros per hour for 2 children
Which equipment is available to borrow for babies & children?
Families are free to borrow a range of baby gear including: cots, highchairs, bottle sterilizers, baby baths and potties
What are the pools like?
The outdoor pool at Kontokali Bay is the star of the show, and open for guests of all ages to use, while the heated indoor pool (28 degrees) is reserved for those 16 and older. There’s a further children’s pool at the Kids Club (complete with every float and water toy known to man available to borrow), which families can use together. Please note that none of the outdoor pools are heated
There are also select rooms with private pools, with only The Presidential Suite benefitting from a private pool
Is there evening entertainment?
While you won’t find mini discos here, family friendly evening entertainment includes live music performances, themed nights and spectacular shows
What’s the protocol for allergies?
Kontokali Bay takes the needs of guests with allergies very seriously. Guests are asked to inform the team at point of booking, so they can ensure clear communication with F&B staff during the trip and make all the necessary arrangements in advance
While you won’t find allergen cards on the buffet here, staff are happy to walk you around all dining destinations explaining what you can and cannot eat. It’s worth knowing that all food is prepared in the same kitchen, so while the utmost care is taken they cannot guarantee no cross-contamination
What’s the dining set up?
Kontokali Bay offers guests the choice of Bed & Breakfast, Half Board and Full Board options. There’s 4 delicious restaurants on site plus room service is available
Guests on half board have included breakfast at either the ‘Horizon’ buffet or ‘Marina’ Food Court on the beach, along with either lunch at ‘Marina’ OR dinner at ‘Horizon’. Those on full board have both lunch at ‘Marina’ Food Court and dinner at ‘Horizon’ included (drinks are not included)
Main Restaurant “Horizon”- a spacious buffet-style restaurant offering a wide selection of international and Mediterranean dishes. Open for breakfast from 7:15 AM to 10:30 AM and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:45 PM
“Marina” Food Court – a casual dining space that serves a traditional Greek breakfast (buffet-style) from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and buffet lunch from 12:00 PM to 3:15 PM. This is a great choice for foodies who enjoy local flavors in a relaxed, informal setting
“Parea” by the Sea – an all day a la carte restaurant open daily for lunch and dinner from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, it is perfect for a leisurely meal with beautiful sea views
“Asterias” Fine Dining Restaurant – is the hotel’s signature fine dining venue, Asterias serves gourmet cuisine in an intimate, upscale setting. Open from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM, it offers an exceptional menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, ideal for a special evening.

Parent to Tiny Traveller aged 18 months
The hotel is very beautiful, with a gorgeous swimming pool and clean, comfortable beaches. A special mention has to go to the friendly and professional staff - they get the highest marks from me. We chose a room with a private pool which was great for our little one, and there's also a playground, children's pool and babysitters to book. The food was amazing. Very tasty and varied. For dinner there was a huge selection of desserts, with ever changing fish, meat, sushi and vegetarian options. It was incredible

I'm the parent of a Velcro 4 year old who simply doesn't enjoy being left alone in a Kids Club, so what I look for on a family holiday rather than places with epic supervised spaces is playgrounds, playrooms and little-leg friendly pools we can all enjoy together. Kontokali Bay hit the nail on the end. First up - the Mini Club (where children 4+ can be left under the charge of the super sweet staff, if you wish). We LOVED the setup here. Inside the gated gardens is a large shallow pool with genuinely every float and water toy under the sun to borrow. There's also a seesaw, swing, slide and climbing frame & that's before we even get to the brimming-with-toys indoor room. Alongside a large shallow splash pool here, the main pool (with GORGEOUS views over the sea) also has the largest 'shallow shelf' I've ever seen in a hotel pool. Add to the that impeccable dining, a beautiful beach and free shuttle running into Corfu Town - and we definitely found a winner!
