Let’s start with the little ones. Home to one of the largest Kids’ Clubs on the continent, safe and secure within it’s own zone within the resort, explorers of all ages are spoiled with fun-first facilities here; we’re talking a pirate ship splash pad with slides, outdoor bouncy castle, rope course & zipline, mini football pitch, and a huge ‘kids castle’ housing everything from arts & crafts to treasure chests of toys. While there are plenty of childcare options starting at 4 months, parents are welcome to stay and play across the outside activities (which we love!) and there are also 3 other family friendly pools back by the main hotel
With mini swashbucklers off enjoying their own adventures, parents are free to lean into the grown-up getaway vibes. Whether that’s sipping a cocktail in the Adults Only pool, working up a sweat in a complimentary fitness class, chowing down on exquisite menus or surrendering to magical masssues, this tranquil haven knows a thing or two about recuperating weary mums & dads
When it comes to accommodation options, it’s clear Parklane really ‘gets’ families in a way lots of others don’t. Not only can they guarantee interconnecting rooms (hallelujah!) but even their entry level options can sleep 2 adults, 2 child & an infant (not to mention, they’re super spacious, and can provide all your baby essentials). Favourite room
For families of three and four – Superior Inland View rooms are the hotel’s standard entry offering. While these don’t have bathtubs (you’ll need a slight upgrade to a Sea View equivalent for that) they can sleep two adults, two children plus a cot as well (so potentially a family of five if your littlest is under 2) which is pretty amazing if you ask us – though it’s worth noting, this is all in the same space
If you’re looking for a separate living area, to relax after the little ones are in bed, you’ll want to pick a ‘Deluxe’ room option – which are the same as the above, only with the addition of an attached sitting space
If you really want to turn up the luxe, we’d recommend the Panoramic Suites (honestly, they’re drop dead gorgeous). These can sleep two adults and one child (plus a cot), have super slick living rooms, and bathrooms that will draw an audible ‘wow’ (expect very scenic soaks thanks to the huge windows). These suites also come with a whole host of added benefits we’ll go into below
For families of five – If you’re part of a bigger brood, Family Suites can sleep 5 (as long as two are under 8) plus an extra cot to boot. Practically, these are split across three sleeping spaces (a master bedroom, a twin room, and a sofa bed area) . And then outdoors, you’re also treated to your own terrace or balcony (this is where we stayed and it was honestly amazing)
It is also worth bearing in mind that most of these room options can interconnect – and one step better, the hotel will guarantee this (which few places actually do). So when it comes to larger families, Parklane is a real winner. If you want more help finding the best configuration for you, consider booking through the Tiny Travel Agency team (they can make spot-on recommendations while sussing your wider holiday logistics, pre-booking restaurants & childcare so you don’t miss out)
Parklane also have a stunning collection of 18 villas throughout the grounds, which line leafy avenues just seconds from the facilities. Villas have up to three bedrooms, and every single one has its own private pool which can be heated upon request. Our personal favourites are the two bedroom options, as both boudoirs look like masters, so no one needs to compromise. They also have 2 sofabeds and can fit cots as well, pushing the total occupancy up to 6 plus infants (so a great option if you’re holidaying with the grandparents)
Back to the Suite benefits. These guests can take advantage of complimentary cabanas (both by the beach or by the pool) which are usually 60eur per adult per day. The mini bar in these options is also on the house, and extra lovely touches include a complimentary spa treatment, transfer, an authentic local experience and free access to the kids club
Villa guests can take advantage of even more perks on top. A VIP meet and greet service will fastrack you right off the plane through passport control, and will take care of your suitcases, plus you’ll have a private concierge for the duration of your visit

Handily located between the island’s two airports, Parklane’s positioning allows for greater flight choice freedom. Not only that, the private Blue Flag beach to the front offers a slice of seclusion in this popular holiday hotspot. Parklane has all the ingredients of a first class fly & flop, and with such a sprawling coastal campus it’s impossible to get bored.
Should you wish to venture out, the small traditional village of Pyrgos is a short drive away, as are the ancient Amathus Ruins. There’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance which will run you down to slick Limassol Port

FAQs
What family facilities are there, and how much do they cost?
We will start with the Explorers Kids Club, which is a true leader across the continent. One of the biggest you’ll find, at 3000sq m, it was designed in collaboration with entertainment experts Scott Dunn. The fun sprawls across two areas – the indoor ‘Castle’ and the gorgeous grounds outside. While you’re free to stay and play in the outdoor space whenever you like (from 10am til late, though the pirate ship pool shuts at 6pm) the Castle building is a no parent zone, with creche & kids club activities operating under professional supervision
The creche is always at an extra fee (€15 per hour) and welcomes little ones from four months, while the Kids Club kicks off at 3 years (and is split into 3 age groups, up to 12). Games and crafts are expertly tailored to ensure they’re appropriate, from pottery painting to T-shirts painting. We had a snoop around and can wholeheartedly confirm, it’s a kids paradise in there – though it’s worth noting, some snacks and activities come at an extra cost. If you’re staying in a Suite or Villa, general access is free, and otherwise costs €20 per session per child, with options running between 10-13:00 & 14:00-18:00 daily
Beyond the famous kids pirate ship pool and water slides, you’ll also find a mini football pitch, zipline, bouncy castle, rope course and little climbing frames in the free-for-all outdoor area within the Kids Club vicinity
As with the a la carte restaurants (which we will come on to below) it is best to pre-book your childcare, especially in the busier summer months (this is where our team really come into their own, taking away your headache of trying to secure a space. You can submit an enquiry here)
Outside of the kids club, you’ll also find tennis and padel courts, plus Football Escapes offer their famous soccer camps at the resort. Water sports (motorised and non) are available down at the beach, at an extra charge
Last but by no means least: babysitters (we’d seriously consider it, as restaurant LPM has ‘date night’ written all over it). Private babysitters can be arranged with 24hours notice. Moving on to money – there is a 20eur flat transportation fee, then its either 15eur p/hr before 10pm or 17eur p/hr after 10pm (to be paid in cash)
Which equipment is available to borrow for babies & children?
Enough to make holidaying with a baby truly headache free! The hotel can lend you everything from the customary cots and highchairs to bottle sterilisers, warmers & baby baths, as well as toddler steps, little toilet seats and potties
What are the pools like?
In a word, plentiful! In total, there are four main (outdoor) swimming spots around the hotel (in addition to the pirate ship pool & slides in the Kids Club, which is a few minutes away)
With views out over the beach you’ll find a gorgeous adults only pool (one to head to while they’re being looked after), cleverly set just above a family friendly saltwater pool. There are gorgeous submerged loungers in both, and Vithos sits right between the two (the hotel’s poolside restaurant serving wraps, pizzas and cocktails in the sun)
Around the other side of the hotel, there are two further gorgeous swimming spots. One, a huge toddler pool, which is 30cm deep and encircled by ridiculously comfy loungers, right next to a large all ages swimming pool which has a genius shallow ledge around most of the edge, plus a gradual sloping entrance. Within eyeshot of these there is a medium size twirling waterslide as well, best suited for kids aged 4-12
It’s worth noting that while Parklane has a gorgeous spa (with tonnes of therapy rooms and three thalassotherapy pools) you do need to have booked a treatment to access this area. However, there is also a beautiful indoor pool open to all (children are welcome between 12-6pm daily). Here you’ll also find a sauna and a gym, which runs complimentary fitness classes spanning yoga, core & body balance sessions
Is there evening entertainment?
While there isn’t a regular mini disco, Parklane is running a ‘Summer to Remember’ activity program which includes lovely family-friendly themed nights. Expect live music, DJs and dancing while the sun sets
What is the protocol for allergies?
Guests are asked to inform the Concierge team at check in so that they can promptly discuss guest requirements with all Food & Beverage teams across the resort
What’s the dining set up?
First things first, children under 3 eat free across all restaurants which is music to our ears of course. And if you’re in need of baby puree, this can be requested via room service. It’s also worth noting, the a la carte options work on a subsidy basis when using Half Board, as opposed to covering the full meal cost (this is 60eur per meal per adult and 30eur for kids, which can be used across either lunch or dinner)
Now we’ve got past the details, here’s a full rundown of the resort’s restaurants::
Lanes: This is the resort’s main restaurant (entirely covered by Half Board bar drinks), serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with gorgeous views out over the pools. Breakfast is an undeniably 5* buffet affair (with everything you’d expect, from an omelette station to lots of cooked & continental options, plus a plethora of fancy honeys). After breakfast has finished, the restaurant closes until 1pm when it reopens all the way through ’til 9.30pm at night. Cuisine is international, in either an a la carte or buffet form
NAMMOS Limassol: Here food isn’t just food, it’s more of an artform. Located down on the beach, NAMMOS Limassol is where to head for a serious treat. It is open for lunch and dinner daily (with a smart casual dress code) and serves up some of the best steaks & fresh fish we’ve ever tasted. Going way above usual hotel restaurant standards, it’s worth noting there isn’t a dedicated kids menu though children are more than welcome and there’s plenty they’ll be happy to eat. No stay at the hotel would be complete without experiencing NAMMOS magic at least once
La Petite Maison (LPM): Brings the French Riviera to Limassol. An elegant ambience is married with world class cuisine (you’ll also find outposts in London, Dubai & Hong Kong amongst other cities). During the week, the restaurant is open for dinner only, starting at 6pm, whilst come the weekend brunch is also on the menu. Again, this is a smart casual operation in stunning surroundings (the outdoor space appears to ‘float’ in it’s own pool amidst lush gardens)
Il Teatro: Open seasonally from mid May through until October, Il Teatro is the hotel’s Italian spot inspired by Capri – think vibrant tiled surroundings, Italian wines, cocktails & pasta nestled next to the main pool area. It’s open for dinner daily from 6.30pm
The Gallery: Located in the hotel’s main lounge bar, while also spilling out onto the terrace, this spot specialises in Pan Asian fare served across both lunch & dinnertime
Vithos: A very laid back lunch-only option overlooking the beach, with pizza, salads and wraps on the menu

Parent to Tiny Travellers aged 4 & 2
We chose this resort because friends raved about the Kids Club. It was HUGE. My 4 year old was free and I could pay to leave my 2 year old, which was well worth the cost. Attached to the Kids Club was a big splash pad and playground. The only downside was there was no loungers around it, but at the main pool there was also a shallow pool (conveniently covered, which was a godsend in the heat) so we spent a lot of time there

The largest waterpark on the island, with 30 different aquatic attractions, for all ages! This splash-tastic entertainment excursion is an easy thirty minute drive from Parklane. Expect a huge wave pool, lazy river and plenty of sun loungers for dry land supervision

A hop, skip and (7 minute car-ride) jump from the hotel you’ll find the ruins of an ancient royal city. Lovers of antiquity take note: Amathus is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Cyprus. Marvel at the agora, Temple of Aphrodite and acropolis.
