Overview
Repackaging the traditional all inclusive experience for discerning travellers, Ikos has become the dictionary definition of family-friendly luxury. If you’ve previously been a member of the ‘anti resort’ camp, Ikos Odisia should be your first foray onto the other side. This stylish stepping stone makes for an easy transition into fully fledged family holidays – without any compromise on grown up vibes, or surprisingly, cultural immersion
First up, the limitless entertainment; there’s a chargeable creche (6 months+); complimentary Kids Club (4+); large playground; children’s pool – complete with Splash Pad; beachside babysitting and Football Academies. Mum & Dad are free to be as active, or inactive, as they like – with everything from sunrise yoga to sunset cruises, through tennis, volleyball, watersports and a temple-like Spa at their fingertips
Ikos Odisia may be full to the brim with activities, but refreshingly it’s been designed with space & serenity in mind – the low rise bungalows are well spread out and even in peak season it never feels too crowded. For those who would like to intersperse their languorous days of lounging with ‘experience’ excursions, Ikos enables guests to explore Corfu’s charming restaurants and beaches with a free day’s Tesla hire

Favourite room
From Double Rooms to Two Bedroom Bungalows, there’s an aesthetically-aspirational abode for all families at Ikos Odisia. Our top recommendation? The Family Room Pool View. Here, gangs of up to 5 are treated to two interconnecting rooms, a comfortably furnished balcony and panoramic pool-view windows. Party of 6? It’s the Deluxe Two Bedroom Bungalow Suite with Private Garden or Pool you’ll want
Nearby
While the Ikos name is more known for next-level-luxury than of-the-country culture, savvy guests don’t sleep on the Local Discovery Programme – which allows families to explore the best of Corfu via a complimentary Tesla day hire. Take to the road to discover golden beaches and ancient landmarks. If you don’t fancy getting behind the wheel yourself, the hotel runs a daily shuttle (which takes 15 mins) to Corfu’s captivating Old Town. Two local restaurants are also included with the Dine Out programme

The resort is divided into 4 villages which gives it a more boutique feel and remarkably it never felt crowded around the pool even in peak season. I haven’t come across any other family-friendly hotels with design as well considered as Odisia. Everything we ate was incredible and EVERYTHING really is included at Ikos
