Overview
An all-suite sanctuary perched above Camp de Mar’s emerald bay, Zafiro Palace Andratx is Mallorca’s most stylish surprise for new parents, travelling with tiny tots in tow. While its sleek design and sea-view suites whisper grown-up glamour, the team here know that under-twos have their own holiday agenda — including naps (on beautiful Balinese beds), snacks (from fun food trucks), playground slides, and splashing! Parents can unwind without compromise thanks to thoughtful touches like quiet corners perfect for pram strolls, restaurants where highchairs and warm welcomes come as standard, and All Inclusive room service at no extra cost* – so you can continue to indulge in a cocktail (or two) right through naptime
When it comes to the accommodation itself, suites are spacious, with private pool options, as well as outdoor balconies or terraces all round. The decor is a masterclass in modern, Mediterranean design – think soft, serene, and effortlessly elegant. Surrounded by the Tramuntana mountains, with views across the sparkling sea, even the most sleep-deprived of parents will feel instantly soothed
The hotel is well positioned too: just a few minutes’ walk to the sandy cove at Camp de Mar, and also easily accessible to Port d’Andratx, a chic harbour town with a palm-lined promenade straight off a postcard. Tantrum-free transfers await as well, given Palma Airport is only a 30 minute drive away
While there is a small kids club, catering for tiny travellers from age 4, our humble opinion is that this is a boutique spot best reserved for babies & toddling tots. The resort’s gentle rhythm is perfect for their early bedtimes and lazy mornings, whilst new parents can still holiday in boujee pre-baby style (with a date night or two, courtesy of the fantastic babysitting service). For breaks with bigger, bouncier kids, take a look at sister hotels Zafiro Palace Alcudia & Zafiro Palace Palmanova where the children’s entertainment is really turned up a notch (think evening entertainment and splash pads!)

Best time to visit
Zafiro Palace Andratx typically opens its doors from late March
through to the end of October. With the island basking in balmy temperatures for most of the year, it’s really a question of personal preference — as you can see from the monthly temperature guide below, average highs rarely dip below the mid-teens. For families with really little ones, May, June, and September are especially lovely, offering warm days at a more relaxed pace, where splashing and sunbathing can be complemented with slow sightseeing. Or for failsafe fun in the sun, the peak summer months promise to deliver:
March: Average highs of 18°
April: Average highs of 20°
May: Average highs of 24°
June: Average highs of 28°
July: Average highs of 31°
August: Average highs of 31°
September: Average highs of 28°
October: Average highs of 24°
Favourite room
First things first – every room here comes equipped with a rain shower, Nespresso machine, air conditioning and sofa bed (basically this a spacious, five star stay in every sense)
Even the smallest suite option can sleep a family of four, so really, it’s a question of the level of luxury you’re looking for. Junior Suites are the entry level option (though it’s important to note, even these have outdoor areas). You can upgrade your stay by opting for a private pool suite, or if space is your top priority, One Bedroom Suites are bigger with a separate living area (and again, one’s with private pools are available)
And then there’s the Zafiro Club suites, for those of you looking for next-level luxury. These come with a whole host of extra benefits, which extend way beyond simply the suite. From an exclusive check-in area and dedicated ‘Club’ pool & bar, to a personalised Concierge service and complimentary massages, this is a package designed to pamper from beginning to end. Not to mention, you’ll find gorgeous Jo Loves products waiting in your bathroom, a bottle of wine & fresh flowers upon arrival, premium drinks cooling in your mini bar, and an elevated Room Service menu to spoil even the most sophisticated of palettes
Only one suite in the hotel, the Owner’s Suite, can sleep a family of five, but this can’t be booked online. So if you’re interested, please get in touch with the hotel directly (or talk to the Tiny Travel Agency team)
Nearby
Tucked into Mallorca’s tranquil southwest corner, Camp de Mar — home to Zafiro Palace Andratx — offers a softer, more serene side of the island. Framed by pine-covered hills and lapped by turquoise waters, it’s an area that feels peaceful yet polished, with a sprinkling of elegant beach bars, local cafés and a golden bay perfect for paddling. The chic harbour town of Port d’Andratx is just a few minutes’ drive away, known for its yacht-dotted marina, sunset restaurants and relaxed coastal charm. Beyond that, winding scenic roads lead to pretty mountain villages like Es Capdellà, with dramatic viewpoints of the Tramuntana mountain range — meaning you can dip in and out of a little exploration, before returning to calm, contemporary comfort
