Overview

A Dolomites dream, nestled in the stunning South Tyrolean mountains, AKI Family Resort Plose beautifully blends nature and nurture into one unforgettable escape. An incredible haven for families with children aged 0–8, it offers professional baby care starting as early as the first month – making it one of the youngest, most thoughtfully designed family offerings in all of Europe. One of those under-the-radar gems that perfectly balances grown-up luxury with just the right dose of wonder for kids, this alpine abode is for families craving an aesthetic and adult-feeling activity-all-inclusive

Tiny travellers are warmly welcomed into a 9-to-9 Kids Club from the very beginning, with care and play available from just one month old. With a family space just outside spread over two floors of pure play paradise – think slides, hanging bridges and a bobbycar track. Alleviating mum’s mental load outside of childcare too, everything little ones could need is found in the 24-hour Baby Bar. We’re talking baby food, formula, prams and potties. Outdoor adventures are at the heart of the agenda here, from forest expeditions and farm visits to gentle hikes along mountain trails that even the smallest legs can handle

At AKI Family Resort Plose wellness isn’t just reserved for adults – it’s a fully fledged family affair. The stunning indoor-outdoor pool steals the spotlight with sweeping valley views, a genuinely toasty temperature and smart sloping entry, while the three exhilarating water slides, including a tyre flume, keeps kids – and parents – coming back for more. Alongside a temple of tranquility for those 18+, the family spa comes complete with child-friendly saunas, a soothing steam room, an invigorating outdoor snow shower, and a dazzling snowflake fountain

Winter sport enthusiasts will be in heaven thanks to a comprehensive slope setup; just steps from your bedroom in the ‘backyard ski area’ you’ll find 40km of pistes (including 2 specially designed for toddlers taking their first snowploughs), a magic carpet, seven state-of-the-art-lifts and ski lessons from 3+

Dining here is another highlight, with a full-board offering that’s both generous and genuinely delicious. Think daily-changing five-course à la carte menus, live cooking stations and complimentary afternoon sweet-treat-pick-me-ups

From multi-generational get-togethers to solo-parent escapes, AKI Family Resort Plose is all about making memories that last a lifetime

    Meet the family...

    Frankie

Parent to Tiny Traveller aged 2

Two things can be true at once: I’m a devoted beach lover, yet alpine hotels are my favourite kind- and AKI Family Resort Plose completely won me over. Visiting solo with my two-year-old, I found it delivered that rare balance of being genuinely child-centric while still feeling calm, considered and restorative for parents. From the beautifully designed Kids Club and thoughtfully planned family suites to the heated pools and forest-tucked adults-only spa, everything felt intuitively geared towards making family travel easier and more enjoyable. I don’t always come home from a 'traditional' European beach family holiday feeling rested, but I treated my long weekend at AKI like a mini wellness retreat - and it truly delivered on that promise

    Worth waking the baby for

    The Apfelgarten Park

Just a short trip from AKI Family Resort Plose, Apfelgarten Park in Naz-Sciaves is a firm favourite with Italian families. Little ones can climb the giant five-metre wooden apple, whizz down the slide, splash about in the mud and water zone, and bounce to their hearts’ content on trampolines and wooden animals

    Mt Plose Mountaincarting

Swap standard go-karts for something far more exhilarting—mountaincarts! These three-wheeled downhill racers are made for adventure-loving riders aged three and up. Mt. Plose’s 9km mountaincart trail winds from the top of the lift through forest tracks and alpine meadows, serving up big thrills and even bigger views all the way down to the valley floor
