Travelling with only one babe in tow? Superior Sea View Rooms are the entry level option, sleeping 2 adults and a child
Family of 4? If you want to keep the gang together, with little ones on a sofa bed, opt for a Superior Room Inland View. Luxury Suites provide separate sleep spaces, while Junior Suites boast gorgeous private pools. If your Tiny Travellers need a proper bed (rather than a pull out) for a peaceful night sleep, it’s the Two Bedroom Sea View Suite you’ll want (sleeping up to 5)

What family facilities are there, and how much do they cost?
Littles ones 4 and older can stay and play all day (free of charge) in the Pelican Kids Club. Parents are welcome to accompany younger kids, or babysitters can be booked from £10 per hour
If you can drag your sprogs away from the soft play, you’ll find a well-shaded outdoor playground, twin waterslides and shallow splash pad
Tweens and teens aren’t forgotten either, with tennis lessons, giant chess, karaoke, dance classes and a floating obstacle course in the ocean
Babysitters can be booked from £10 per hour
Which equipment is available to borrow for babies & children?
Steriliser, bottle warmer, nappy changing mat, baby bathtub, toilet training seat and an in-room high chair are all available to borrow free of charge. Please place your request with the team in advance of your trip

There’s a total of 4 pools at Amathus Beach Hotel; a central one to be used by everyone; a one for adults only; one for families and one indoor. The adults pool and indoor pool are heated

What’s the dining set up?
Amathus Beach Hotel offers B&B throughout the year and half board packages (June-August) across 4 restaurants and 2 bars
All-day dining and bountiful buffets are served at Kalypso, alongside an a la carte menu. The generous breakfast spread, with live cooking stations, is served here. Wood-fired dishes are on the menu at The Grill Room, while Kalypso Gardens hosts seven different themed nights during the week. Known as one of the best fish restaurants in Cyprus, the seafood at Limanaki does not disappoint. Light lunches, salads and sushi bites are found at the Athina Lounge, with sandwiches and ice cream come courtesy of the Helios & Fresh Beach Bar. Dining starts from 7pm, for the whole family
Half Board includes breakfast plus either lunch or dinner. You may choose between lunch or dinner on a daily basis. Half board entitles you to Buffet Dinner/Lunch or 3 course meal from the a la carte menu (when there is no buffet) at the Kalypso Restaurant. Drinks are excluded

Our family holiday at Amathus was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The hotel truly has everything a family could need and the staff are so incredible, warm and kind. Plus, the amenities are second to none. The main restaurant and its buffet were a highlight each day. The beach was pristine and the pool area stunning. Our girls especially adored the Kids Club, and the evening shows including music and juggling acts. A special mention to our Junior Suite with private pool which was absolutely breathtaking. All in all - a must book, I highly, highly recommend

The second largest city in Cyprus, a mooch around Limassol is not to be missed. Home to a centuries-old castle, Medieval Museum, seafront Sculpture Park, garden zoo and pristine marina, the bustling streets really do offer something for everyone. Pram-friendly Molos Promenade is a lovely place to wander, sprinkled with playground pit stops, piers that stretch out into the sea and a smattering of restaurants

The Paphos Birds and Animals Zoo
With so much going on in the resort there’s little reason to leave, but should you fancy getting out and about for the day, The Paphos Birds and Animal Zoo is a great place to start. Roaming residents include giraffes, monkeys, meerkats, crocodiles, kangaroos, tigers and even white lions!

Fasouri Aqua Park
The largest waterpark in Cyprus, in sheer size and number of attractions, Fasouri Aqua Park is a bucket-list outing for many aquatic adrenaline seekers. From a lazy river, Wet Bubble and baby bungee swings, to a Kamikaze Slide and blink-and-you’re-expelled ‘Black Cannon’ there’s enough for all activity appetites here
