Parent to Tiny Traveller aged 4
I would recommend this hotel for 2 main reasons; firstly, the super accessible Kids Club. It's free for those 4+ and the fact you don't have to prebook sessions is a godsend, they could come and go as they like. It freed up time for me to enjoy things like morning yoga and other activities. Secondly, the food. It's faultless. It's half board, but if you're staying for 7 nights you get 2 free A La Carte reservations (including at sister hotels). Even the buffet food was really very good indeed
FAQs
What family facilities are there, and how much do they cost?
The Kids Club at Corfu Imperial runs from 10am – 6pm and is complimentary for guests 4 and older. Younger children are welcome to stay and play too, with parental supervision. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, it also opens again from 8.30pm – 10pm
You’ll find the toy-and-game-filled room just on top of beach and next to the Trattoria restaurant. Example activities include cooking classes, Olympic games, outdoor water games and arts & crafts. Alongside a giant connect 4, and plenty of baby toys expect a throw back to childhood favourite games, including Hungry Hippos and the Pop Up Pirate. While it’s not the largest Kids Club out there it is deliciously chilled and easy to use. There’s no need to pre-book a slot and families can dip in and out throughout the day
Babysitters can be booked for 30 euros an hour during the day and 35 euros an hour in the evening. These need to be booked 24 hrs in advance and there’s a minimum 3 hr booking
Which equipment is available to borrow for babies & children?
Grecotel sure knows how to make parent’s lives easier when it comes to packing. Across their hotels you’ll find their genius GrecoBaby service which provides all the essential equipment you need for travelling with tinies (some is complimentary and some is chargeable). This includes: cots, bedrails, baby baths, toilet seats, potties, changing mats, bouncy chairs, bottle sterilizers, pushchairs and baby monitors. The only thing not available is nappy bins – so make sure to pack poo bags
What are the pools like?
There are 2 communal outdoor pools at Corfu Imperial, one for use by all guests and all adults only. The main pool is *the* warmest we’ve ever swum in. Truly the only watering hole we’d hand on heart declare was bath water warm. While there’s no shallow steps or graduated entry for little legs the oh-so-lovely temperature means it’s somewhere you’re happy to splash around in all day
Just behind this swim spot is the adults only pool, if you’re looking to tag team some quite time
Both pools are surrounded by sun loungers and lunch and drinks can be ordered via QR codes
There’s also the shared pools outside the swim up suites in the Garden Collection and the private options in the Waterfront Collection. The later of which can be heated (at an additional cost), and pool guards can be provided
Is there evening entertainment?
4 times a week there’s al fresco cinema screenings on Corfu Imperial’s ‘private island’. These run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 9.30pm. They are complimentary, with seats on a first come first serve basis. Themed nights range from vintage and adventure to Greek-themed and family friendly. There’s also gentle live music and DJ sets outside of the restaurants in the evening
What’s the protocol for allergies?
Guests are encouraged to advise the hotel in advance of any allergies, they will then be met at check in by someone from the F&B team who can walk them around the buffet and the a la carte menus (it’s worth knowing there aren’t allergen signs out for guests to see)

Guests can stay at Corfu Imperial on B&B or half board ‘Dine Club’ plans
To start with a big purse pleasing perk, kids eat for free on both boards, with all day snacks available at the Kids Club from 11am-5pm and a really great ‘Tasty Corner’ mini buffet spread put out in Mon Repos from 12.30pm – 2pm, with a choice of pizza, pasta, chips, salad and ice cream
As well as complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner (which trust us is *the* most gourmet buffet you’ll ever experience), guests who stay 7 nights or more on the Dine Club concept are treated to two a la carte dinner (drinks not included)

Mon Repos: International & Mediterranean buffet for daily breakfast and dinner. Open 07:30-10:30 & 18:30-21:30 (as well as the ‘Tasty Corner’ for lunch)
Aristos: Fine French/Mediterranean a la carte with lavish menu curated by a top chef. Open 19:30-22:30
Trattoria & Wine Bar: Casual Italian, including charcuterie, cheeses and pasta. Open 12:00-17:00 & 19:30-22:30
Yali Seafood: Fresh seafood specialties with deck-style setting right above the water. Open 12:00-17:00 & 19:00-22:00
Merlin’s Bar Restaurant: Adults Only 12+ Fusion of Asian & Latin American flavors. Open 19:30-22:30

Truly *the most exceptional* hotel I've ever stayed in, the setting, service and dining destinations at Corfu Imperial are nothing short of sublime. I was initially worried that my whirlwind Tiny Travellers would cause a scene in such an uber luxe hotel, but the endlessly friendly staff couldn't have made them feel more welcome. I'd never really appreciated the need for a sea view room before, but oh-my, waking up and falling asleep to the inky expanse of the ocean was a treat I didn't know I needed. The beach is really special, with lovely shallow waters and soft sands. I could also wax lyrical about the food - the buffet was one of the most gastronomic I've ever experienced. I also loved the 'tasty corner' at lunch for little ones, meaning kids eat for free. We made use of the complimentary shuttle into Corfu Town, which as hard as it might be to drag yourself away from the resort, does make for a brilliant morning out

The overall vibe was amazing. We chose our room specifically as it had a shared pool outside the back door. This meant that in the 2 hour lunchtime nap we could sit outside with a monitor and not be more than a few meters away. It was just so easy with kids. Nothing is too much. Our son was 7 months old and they made him purées at 11:30 and 17:00 - times that the main restaurant wasn’t open. Kids under 12 eat free anyway so no charge at all but always perfectly prepared and hot. Yali was definitely our favourite restaurant. The most stunning water front setting. The buffet was incredible for breakfast and the half board option meant we only had one or two dinners there and again excellent food and presentation. Service outstanding. Not one moody or rude member of staff. Couldn’t do more for you and this is the reason I saw so many returning guests hugging staff as they arrived or left. Clearly a place people come back
