There were fantastic family amenities at Daios Cove, we had never been anywhere like it and honestly it’s changed the way we look at holidays! The service at the Kids Club was impeccable. They also organised babysitters to come to your room, so we had a little date night, something we never do but the staff were super friendly and so professional, we felt totally at ease

The journey was completely hassle free. We booked directly with the hotel, so benefitted from a free private transfer (with an age appropriate car seat) after an easy direct flight to Heraklion. All rooms have sweeping views over the bay and are big enough to fit a cot. We stayed in a Deluxe Junior Suite with a private saltwater pool and were provided with a cot and steriliser on request. Unlike some luxury resorts, parents are never made to feel out of place at Daios Cove. There’s no disapproving glances at tantruming toddlers but a sense of solidarity is created with ‘we’ve all been there’ smiles

We stayed in the Deluxe Sea View Room with a private pool - gold dust for the sleeping baby : tanning mummy distance. The room was super spacious and they had already set up a very comfy cot in the lounge area for our son. It was all open plan, so we were treated to jaw dropping views of the ocean from all angles. There was also a bath which is always a plus after a day of being in the pool & on the very sandy beach! There were adult and family areas in Pangea, the main restaurant, which hosted a ‘buffet’ of international food. I don’t like using the word buffet because of the negative connotations around it, but this one was incredible! We’ve never eaten food like it. It was all fresh, any fish you’d like, or any cuisine - from miso salmon and fall-off-the-bone red meats. There were 3 other restaurants you could dine at which were also SO amazing!

All Inclusives aren't usually our bag, but Daios Cove completely changed our minds. There were 4 a la carte restaurants, plus a buffet and a pool bar, and the food at each was simply incredible. The infinity pool overlooking the sparkling sea was hands down one of the prettiest we've ever seen

Daios Cove was unlike anywhere we've ever been before. The service is simply next level and we might have to buy our own buggy to zip around the garden home - as our daughter is now accustomed to travelling in style. For the ultimate fly & flop holiday I can't imagine anywhere better
