Favourite room
Can we pick all of them? Not only has the whole place been beautifully restyled recently, to become a playful maritime-themed haven designed entirely for families, but every single room can effortlessly sleep a family of three. If you’re looking for the most affordable option, it’s the Falky Room Superior you’ll want (and even these have a separate sleeping space for your little one – these guys really know what parents want!)
For families of four, keep an eye out for the Family Room Superior or Family Room Deluxe options (the latter is a little larger). Again, both of these have a mini kids room off of the main adult bedroom, and boast some super fun touches the kids will adore including mini climbing walls and submarine-themed beds
Families of five should opt for a Falky Family Suite. Ideal for larger families, these feature floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with light, as well as a cozy sitting area, private balcony with sea view, and a children’s room with up to three beds

FAQs
What family facilities are there, and how much do they cost?
In short, there’s pretty much every family facility you can think of! Let’s start with childcare…
For the tiniest of tots, from 0-3 years old, there’s a creche offering 2 hours of complimentary supervision anytime between the hours of 10am and 5pm every day. If you’d rather, you’re able to stay with your tiny travellers, with tonnes of toys and activities including sensory play, music & moment sessions, a story corner & immersive underwater projections
And then we move onto the (huge!) Kids Club, Flaky Land, designed for tiny travellers up until age 12 – the space is separated into 3 zones, each dedicated to a different age group. Again, this is open from 10am until 5pm daily with the option to stay and play, on a complimentary basis. To say the activity agenda is extensive is an understatement – with everything from arts & crafts to a gaming zone with VR kit and racing simulator, shaded outdoor play areas, a science lab, library corner, table sports, arcade games and much more. There’s also the option to take part in SUP and kayaking experiences, padel lessons, and pool parties!
The hotel also has its own team of babysitters, who can be booked on the spot (you read that right!), at no extra cost
And the fun extends way beyond the kids club, as the resort also boasts a family friendly sauna (plus a selection of spa treatments for kids), indoor and outdoor pools and slides, an absolutely beautiful choice of beaches, Valo jump (trampoline) zone and Valo climbing wall area, too
Which equipment is available to borrow for babies & children?
Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora go above and beyond to save you suitcase stress, providing a fab range of baby bits. These include cots, bed guards, kids toilet attachments, potties, changing mats, nappy bins and baby baths. All are free, though to avoid disappoint, we’d recommend requesting them in advance
What are the pools like?
Humungous, heated (to 26c) and designed to delight the kids! As well as 3 outdoor pools (one of which is connected to an indoor swimming spot, and another of which has a handy sun shade), there’s a waterslide and a pirate ship splashpad
Is there evening entertainment?
In a word, yes! Whether you’d rather lounge at the open air cinema, bop at the mini disco, or keep them captivated at a live show, you won’t struggle to find something to entertain all ages after dark
What’s the protocol for allergies?
The hotel is very well versed at dealing with dietary requirements, but kindly request you inform them prior to arrival (ideally at the time of booking) so all staff can be informed and can cater to your needs accordingly
What’s the dining set up?
Dining at Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora all revolves around Restaurant Artigiani, which boasts a huge array of delicious cooking stations including an antipasti bar, fresh soups & salad buffet, a fish market, tantalising meat & grill station, pizza place, pasta counter, wok station, gyros & kebab bar… you get the idea! And don’t forget to save space for the amazing sweets and desserts as well!
Breakfast is served between 7.30-10.30am, before the restaurant reopens for lunch from 12.30-2pm. Dinner kicks off nice and early at 6pm (much to our delight!), and special effort has been made to ensure there’s lots of options for even the most picky of little eaters (plus every parent’s favourite – room service is available too)
As the hotel is part of the Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala, there are also a further 13 bars and restaurants in easy walking reach if you’re staying on a half board basis, and fancying mixing it up a bit
