Approx 30 minutes from Palma airport. We recommend hiring a car to make the most of this activity-rich area, however, taxis are a breeze at Palma airport (and around 60 euros each way). Best time to visit
Mallorca basks in gentle warmth for most of the year, making the “perfect” time to visit more a matter of mood than weather. In this sun-kissed corner of the island, it’s not unusual to enjoy blissful highs of 25–27°C even in March and November—two of our favourite months to travel. These shoulder seasons offer golden light, quiet beaches, and ample warmth. Families with little ones will also love May, June, and September, when the days are warm and unhurried. Summer brings the classic Mediterranean glow in full force. And whenever you choose to come, Migjorn makes your stay even sweeter: as one of the only hotels on the island with a heated pool—open from the very first day of the season to the last. Even the sea in this part of Mallorca stays welcoming for swimmers from early May right through to Christmas

Every suite features a large bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, and a generous lounge with a dining area and a small kitchen. Comfort is paramount: separate air conditioning for the bedroom and living area ensures the perfect temperature, while blackout curtains let you enjoy a peaceful post-lunch nap without interruption
There are four suite categories to suit every family’s needs:
Double Deluxe Suites – Located on the first floor of the main building, these suites offer an entry-level price without compromising on style. While they don’t have private outdoor space, the large French windows in the bedroom and living room flood the suite with light and invite the outdoors in. The high-end sofa easily converts into a bunk bed, with this the suite can accommodate up to 2 adults, 2 children, and 1 baby
First Floor Superior Suite – Designed for families of up to 2 adults and 2 children, this suite features a charming east-facing loggia (open sided corridor) in a Moorish style—perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunrise
First Floor Junior Superior Suite – Sharing a similar internal layout with the First Floor Superior, this suite includes the added luxury of sunbeds on a private terrace too
Ground Floor Superior Suites – The largest and most stunning of all, these light-filled suites comfortably host up to 6 family members. Located either in the main house or an outbuilding, each suite boasts terraces that span the full width of the bedroom and living room. Cleverly designed with dual entrances, parents can enter or leave without disturbing sleeping children, making these suites the ultimate choice for seamless family living

Beaches
Just a short drive from Hotel Migjorn, Mallorca’s south-eastern coastline offers some of the island’s most enchanting beaches. Es Trenc, the closest and arguably the most stunning, boasts a long, shallow shoreline ideal for paddling, building sandcastles, and simply soaking up the sun. For a more iconic, Instagram-ready spot, Cala Santanyi is only 20–25 minutes away. Beyond the famous fishermen’s houses that dominate your feed, you’ll find a beautiful sandy beach, complete with a pram-friendly boardwalk and a charming beachfront café

Santanyi
Just a 20-minute drive from Hotel Migjorn, the charming town of Santanyí is a delight for families. Its quaint streets are easy to explore with little ones, and the town is famous for its vibrant weekly markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, where children can marvel at colourful local produce, handmade crafts, and sweet treats. Cafés and shady squares provide perfect spots for a relaxed break, while parents enjoy the friendly atmosphere and boutique shopping

Soller
Just under an hour’s drive from Hotel Migjorn, Sóller feels like stepping into a storybook. In town, cobbled streets wind past charming cafés and the impressive, history-steeped cathedral. Then it’s a short vintage tram ride to Port de Sóller. Here calm waters, family-friendly watersports, and endless space for sandcastles make for a perfect pint-sized playground, while parents can sip a coffee, browse seaside shops, and soak up the scenery
