Overview
Calling all parents who live for the spa and wellness, with kids who thrive on endless entertainment: thought a hotel that catered to both was a myth? Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort is here to prove you spectacularly wrong. You might not yet have heard of it, but with cliffside vistas to rival Olympus itself, a spa that could easily double as a modern temple of wellness, and a Kids Planet where Madagascar and Ice Age stars greet your little ones, you’ll be booking at Hermes-level speed by the time you’ve read our review
Equal parts sleek sanctuary and child-centric extravaganza, Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort is one of those rare escapes that genuinely delights everyone. Parents can melt into adults-only pools, soak in mineral-rich springs, and indulge in a spa so decadent, even the most epic of toddler tantrums, sleepless nights, and sibling spats will be swiftly forgotten. Meanwhile, little ones enter a kaleidoscopic kingdom called Kids Planet: think splash pads, soft play, mini race tracks with baby-sized Range Rovers, bouncy castles, and an all-star meet-and-greet from Madagascar and Ice Age. While the supervised Kids Club comes at a charge, there is also a free-to-use family room, fully kitted out with toys and games for time together
Families seeking space and a touch of luxury are perfectly catered for: Miraggio’s rooms and suites are generously sized and thoughtfully designed, with some boasting private pools that make naptime not just possible, but genuinely relaxing. Mealtimes are an eight-restaurant adventure of Mediterranean and international delights, designed to please even the most discerning diners. Outside, three sparkling pools and a sugar-soft, Blue Flag beach keep everyone happily rotating. The result? A unicorn of a resort where you can truly — and we mean genuinely — return home rested & revived

At Miraggio Thermal Resort & Spa, guests can choose between spacious Deluxe Rooms or the ultra-exclusive Miraggio Club, designed for those seeking true luxury and complete privacy. Nestled in the resort’s most secluded area, Miraggio Club offers a bespoke holiday experience with private terraces—most with their own swimming pools—overlooking the stunning Sithonia Peninsula and Mount Athos. Guests enjoy a private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, personalized concierge services for everything from a-la-carte dining and private sea cruises to sightseeing trips, babysitting, or personal training, and the option to savour breakfast at the new Eliá Restaurant. Complemented by complimentary shuttle transfers to and from Thessaloniki Airport (minimum stay five nights)
For families of three, the Deluxe Sea View Rooms are a smart choice. Generous at 37-39m², they offer an open-plan layout with plenty of room
Families of four will love the Family Garden View Rooms, thoughtfully designed at 43–45m². A clever sliding door separates the sleeping areas, giving parents and children a touch of privacy while keeping everyone connected. The setup—complete with a comfortable bed for parents and a sofa bed for the kids—strikes the ideal balance between togetherness and personal space
For families of five or more, the resort’s Two-Bedroom Duplex Suite with Private Pool is an absolute game-changer. With 178m² of split-level space, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps up to six — ideal for grandparents or an extended family getaway
If we had to pick a favourite? It would have to be the Club Sea View Private Pool Room. At 37-39m², these open-plan gems sleep two adults and two children in comfort, with the added indulgence of a private pool

I’d describe the hotel as a Middle East influenced "palace" encompassing minimalist crisp interiors and an overtone of Zen. The Kids' Club was unparalleled. Adjacent to the Madagascar movie inspired entrance sat a miniature water park meets mini race track kitted out with baby-sized Range Rovers and Mercedes vehicles. The beachfront setting provided the ultimate space for activities from jet-skiing and scuba to poolside grooving. Copious dining spots and cuisines were on offer - including a dedicated sushi island, freshly prepared - however given our young son's schedule and demand, we tended to keep to the prominent and commendable buffet destination. In short, I highly recommend Miraggio to other parents
