Onto the resort itself, where you’ll find low rise bungalows dotting the lush, flower-scented, grounds. The pinnacle of the Greek good life, Hellenic hospitality and culturally-rich experiences reign supreme here; evening entertainment comes in the form of feasting, live music & dancing. Entertainment at the newly opened Kids Club (4+) is rooted in screen-free fun, with gardening, mindfulness and open air beach cinema nights on the agenda. Teens can hang out in their own club, try their hand at watersports, or borrow a bike for a spin through the olive groves. Championing a locally-led approach to hassle-free holidays, Parga Beach Resort resorts offers the winning trifecta of convenience, culture & childcare

This might be peak school holiday season, but this lesser known spot remains largely free of the hordes. With the sea staying (pleasantly) swimmable until October and the skies starting to warm up to low 20s as early as May, shoulder season soirees also make a lot of sense

FAQs
What family facilities are there, and how much do they cost?
The super chic Phiome Kids Club offers complimentary supervised sessions for those 4-12, in a Scandi-designed playroom (complete with role play kitchen, tepee and bean bags, arts & crafts corner and shaded playground). This is a strictly children’s only space, with the only adults allowed being the qualified staff. The hours run from 10am – 6pm, with a short break between 1pm – 2.30pm
Activities include: gardening workshops, yoga & pottery sessions, cooking classes and talent shows
Spaces should be pre-booked, but this can easily be done on the day
Babysitters can be booked for 15 euros per hour (at a ratio of 1:3 per family)
Alongside the Kids Club, teens have their own schedule of activities, including: aqua sports, beach bootcamp, escape room, raft building and tournaments
Entertainment further extends to a shaded playground (handily located right next to the beachfront restaurants), indoor playroom with small soft play, wendy house, board games, lots of books to borrow, table football and ping-pong
Once a week there’s an al fresco cinema screening on the beach (this is in Greek with subtitles)
You’ll also find a raft of watersports available – although these do come an additional charge
Which equipment is available to borrow for babies & children?
Cots and highchairs come as standard, with children’s plates, cups and cutlery ready and waiting at every mealtime. Additional equipment, such as bottle warmers and changing seats can also be borrowed, if you request in advance
What are the pools like?
Instead of one main (often overcrowded) pool, Parga does swim spots a little differently, and you’ll find 7 dotted around the flower-filled resort. While all are family friendly, perhaps the best suited to toddlers is the one next to the Kitron pool bar and Kokona taverna – thanks to it’s gentle sloping entrance, bathwater-warm waters and speedy waiter service from the uber comfortable sun loungers. You’ll find another zero-entry pool right in front of the beach, with the rest sprinkled around the rooms. Guests are free to use all the pools, although we found most people stick to the pools closest to their rooms
Is there evening entertainment?
While there’s no mini discos, there is nightly live music, weekly outdoor family cinema showings and Greek nights including white parties
What’s the protocol for allergies?
While there’s no visual allergen labelling at the buffet, the brilliant staff are well-equipped to help families navigate the food offering. Allergens are clearly labelled on the a la carte menus, and we found we were asked about allergies by every single member of staff every single time we ordered any food or drink!
What’s the dining set up?
An authentic all inclusive walking distance to plenty of traditional tavernas, Parga Beach Resort really does offer foodies the best of both worlds
At the resort you’ll find 3 restaurants, alongside a pool and beach bar also offering lunch
Iporia is the resort’s main beachfront dining venue, offering stunning views of the Ionian Sea and the historic Venetian Castle. Guests can enjoy a rich buffet breakfast and dinner, or choose à la carte options for lunch, featuring a creative blend of Greek fusion cuisine (open: 7.30-10.30am, 12.30-5pm, 7-9.30pm)
Lianolia is a refined, open-air restaurant directed by Georgianna Hiliadaki, a 2 Michelin-star chef. The menu offers contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with modern twists, showcasing fresh local ingredients, high-quality wines, and signature cocktails (open: 7pm-11.30pm)
Kokona is the latest addition to the resort’s culinary lineup, offering homestyle Greek comfort food inspired by the traditions of Epirus. Located next to the children’s heated pool, Kokona features dishes cooked in a wood-fired oven, such as rustic breads, slow-cooked meats, and baked vegetables (open: 7pm – 11.30pm)
Kitron the pool bar is open from 11am – 11pm every day serving cocktails, mocktails, iced coffees, wood-fired pizzas, salads, fruit platters and ice cream directly to your sunlounger
Parga Beach Club is open from 11am – 11pm every day, serving drinks, burgers, sandwiches, salads and desserts on tables opposite the sea
Guests can stay at Parga Beach Resort on three boards; bed & breakfast, half-board or ultra all-inclusive
Breakfast is always a buffet, and guests are split across Iporia and Kokona, meaning no matter how busy the resort is, it never feels busy
Half board includes dinner at Iporia buffet plus a la carte dining at Lianolia or Kokona (depending on the length of stay)
If you book the ultra all inclusive and stay for 7 nights, guests are welcome to dine for dinner at the a la carte restaurants Kokona twice and Lianolia once, with no restrictions on lunch. Unlimited drinks of select labels are all included
Children’s menus can be found across all the restaurants, along with plenty of highchairs and children’s cutlery and crockery. Room service is available, but not included in the all inclusive offering

The hotel is a lovely traditional Greek style village layout. We stayed in the new part of the hotel in the Eden Suite, which was more modern than some of the other rooms. We really liked the numerous small swimming pools dotted throughout the hotel, this made the pool area so much more relaxing than one huge pool area. The beach was also a hit. Beautiful long sandy stretch with lots of sunbeds. Our evenings were spent in Parga town, which is a short 5/10 min stroll, we enjoyed the walk, but it's not super pram friendly, so bring the sling if needed. Parga is probably one of the nicest Greek towns we have visited. It has wonderful independent shops, SO many restaurants which are really reasonably priced. We would visit Parga again and would recommend for all ages. The new area of the hotel is fab, the beach is amazing and we loved the bustling town
