Overview
Rayavadee, meaning the land of the princess, more than lives up to its royal name – with exemplary service and a cinematic backdrop any monarch would approve of. The only hotel in Thailand to border three beaches, (including Leo’s Hollywood hangout) this is a first class tropical fly and flop. Perched on the edge of the Krabi National Marine Park, and accessible only by sea, Rayavadee has perfected the chic castaway experience – where private island feels, wellness and wildlife combine. Adults can plonk themselves on daybeds next to the lagoon-style infinity pool, whilst offspring are expertly entertained with a whole host of complimentary, culturally rich, activities. With the turquoise Andaman sea to the front and towering limestone cliffs to the back, you’d be hard pushed to find a more photogenic parent pleasing pad

The wildlife is a little explorer’s fantasy, with regular visits from dusky langurs, macaques and monitor lizards – heaven! The staff are superstars – we celebrated Marlowe’s third birthday here and they decked out our room with balloons and surprised him at dinner with a cake – and were happy to organise excursions for us to Emerald Pool and on a island hopping boat trip when we got itchy feet
Reviews from other parents
Rayavadee is the most amazing place we've ever bedded down. Our eldest child loved the cultural offering of activities, where she was treated to Thai boxing and tennis classes, plus local craft workshops. The Grotto restaurant is the prettiest place I've ever eaten and the hotel can arrange tours to hang with elephants or discover nearby secret swimming spots
