This stylish staycation is a year round showstopper, whether you opt for summer strolls or winter walks. When the weather allows, the al fresco dining area (complete with hot tub, BBQ and firepit) has A* aesthetic credentials, but this is equally matched by the inspiring interiors, meaning even if you have to hunker down from the weather there’s no better place to do so

We had a truly magical few days at West Cawthorne. Rich & Sophie were brilliant hosts and having a young family themselves they had thought everything when it came to the kids! It's our dream to one day live in a barn conversion, so failing moving in (!), we'll definitely be back again and again to get another fix of those views, the gorgeous interiors and the opportunity to switch off from the world for a few days

Imaginations will run wild at the quirky seaside town of Whitby, where Tiny Travellers can explore the ruined gothic abbey that inspired Dracula and pour over Captain Cook’s maps in his memorial museum. Charming cobblestone streets are lined with arcades, sweet shops and arguably some of the UK’s best fish and chips. Sandsend beach is a short walk away for an easy beach in reach

Much more than your average farm, families are treated to beach huts, magic shows, dino digs, fairy trails and foam parties, not to mention plenty of animal friends, at this all-singing all-dancing children’s fantasyland

At this mecca of home grown produce you’ll find a free children’s play area, miniature railway and Maize Maze, alongside a wealth of local, seasonal, fresher than fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and sweet treats
