Overview
Families, rejoice: La Zambra knows tiny travellers matter. La Zambra Resort rests between rolling golf courses and the Sierra de Mijas on the sun-kissed Costa del Sol. White-washed walls, terracotta accents, and wrought-iron details blend seamlessly with contemporary comforts, creating a setting where adults unwind in style and little ones feel instantly at home
The newly refurbished Olé Kids Club welcomes children from 6 months onwards, with two dedicated spaces: a Baby Club (6 months-3 years) and a Kids Club (4-10 years). Families are welcome to stay & play or leave offspring to enjoy with creative workshops, “little chefs” cooking sessions, music, sports, dancing, and special seasonal activities throughout the year
Outdoors, the resort’s pools cater to every age: a beach-style pool with gentle levels perfect for younger swimmers, and a serene adults-only pool spread across two tiers with serene views. Inside, the 2,000 sqm Mood Spa offers a complete wellness escape, from hydrotherapy and hammam to saunas and a heated indoor pool with a dedicated family time window each day so children can also enjoy the space. Golfers are in their element with access to two championship courses just minutes away, while wine lovers and foodies can delight in the resort’s restaurants. Dining is equally family oriented. The four distinctive restaurants offer children meals, and breakfast includes a kids corner designed with tiny travellers in mind. And for families travelling with furry companions, La Zambra is proudly pet-friendly
La Zambra is a contemporary take on classic Andalusia – elegant, family-friendly, and effortlessly sophisticated. From its breathtaking views to its exceptional service, this iconic resort elevates every experience

Andalusia is a bit of a hidden gem when it comes to easy-to-reach winter sun, boasting over 300 sunny days a year. It’s a no-brainer for summer holidays, but also a clever choice for Easter or even Christmas — while the outdoor pools aren’t heated in the cooler months, the heated indoor spa pool ensures you can still enjoy a good swim

Want a touch of luxury without sacrificing fun for the kids? One of the strongest points for a family visit is the newly refurbished Olé Kids Club. Every time we picked D up they were playing music and dancing around - and in the mornings she asked to “go see the nice ladies”. The food was incredible – from breakfasts of fresh fruit, pastries and made-to-order eggs, to lobster paella for dinner and a fab kids menu available. While D was in the Kids Club, we headed to the Mood Spa – at 2000msq it’s one of the largest in Spain and offers indoor pool, hydrotherapy, saunas, hammam, and treatment rooms. It was heaven! Overall, 10/10 I would recommend La Zambra – a special place to make core memories with your whole tribe
