This is an absolute family holiday win. While the UK’s diving into coat-and-scarf season, this sun-drenched Spanish archipelago is basking in balmy 22–26 degrees days, aka the sort that means you’ll be beach-hopping, pool-dipping and actually enjoying an ice cream before it melts down your toddler’s elbow. Portugal in November is low-key lovely – and criminally underrated for a family escape. With the summer crowds long gone and temperatures sitting comfortably between 15–20 degrees, it’s ideal for beach pottering, countryside wanders and long, lazy lunches where no one’s melting (parents included). The Algarve still delivers plenty of sun, with wide sandy beaches, clifftop walks and charming towns like Lagos and Tavira where little legs can roam and cafés serve pastéis de nata on repeat. Thailand in November is a family holiday jackpot – sunny skies, warm seas and just the right mix of adventure and ease. With the rainy season wrapping up, it’s the perfect time to visit, especially along the west coast (hello, Phuket, Krabi and the Phi Phi Islands), where temperatures sit rather beautifully between 25–31 degrees.
